WE SPECIALIZE IN MAKING A DIFFERENCE

Kool Nerd Prep (KNP) is the flagship initiative for the Kool Nerd Foundation. We identify, recruit, and develop students who desire to enter high-demand STEM careers but may need additional support in their college programs. Our model provides the academic, emotional, and social navigators these students need to succeed in school and beyond.

KNP prepares highly motivated Black and Latinx students from underserved New York City and Westchester communities for success in rigorous academic STEM programs at community colleges.

Anyone can succeed with the right encouragement and access to quality education. We believe it takes a commitment to the journey, perseverance, and strong mentors to overcome learning and employment barriers.
